¿Quieres conocer una maravillosa casa de alquiler en Los Caños de Meca para ti y para tu familia?

Marisucia Beach, also known as Cala Varadero, is one of the most beautiful and natural beaches in Los Caños de Meca. Its fine, pale sand and clean, crystal-clear water make it a favourite with visitors seeking a peaceful seaside setting on the Costa de la Luz. It is also the longest beach in Los Caños, enabling it to retain a fairly relaxed atmosphere even during the summer compared with busier areas.

The landscape surrounding Marisucia is truly spectacular. The beach is bordered by natural dunes and coastal vegetation, giving it a wild, authentic character. Many points offer wide views across the Atlantic, and on particularly clear days it is even possible to make out the coast of Morocco on the horizon.

The beach is accessed mainly from the road to Trafalgar Lighthouse, where there is a large car park at the beginning of the area. Several paths and wooden walkways lead from there across the dunes to different points along this extensive beach.

Marisucia extends from the Playas del Estrecho residential development to Trafalgar Lighthouse itself and can be divided into several distinctive areas:

  • Playas del Estrecho area. The first section of the beach contains numerous rock formations. It is not the best place for swimming, but it is ideal for exploring the seabed or snorkelling. The lively La Rubia beach bar, very popular in summer, is also located here.
  • Central Marisucia. As the coast curves gently, the beach’s best-known section appears. Here, the rocks disappear and the sand becomes completely clear, making swimming much more comfortable. The water is generally particularly transparent in this area. Well-known venues such as Ohana and Las Dunas are close by.
  • Trafalgar Lighthouse area. The final section reaches the iconic Trafalgar Lighthouse. Here there are small, more sheltered and peaceful coves surrounded by nature. The area is popular with those seeking greater privacy and has traditionally been frequented by naturists. The sea along this section can have strong currents, so care should be taken when swimming.

Overall, Marisucia perfectly sums up the character of Los Caños de Meca: open countryside, wide beaches, Atlantic scenery and a sense of freedom that is difficult to find elsewhere on the coast.
